About Dan. Dan was raised hunting and trapping, and first came to Wyoming when he was 19. Calling and hunting the coyote presented such a challenge that Dan was instantly hooked, and that began a lifestyle, that has elevated Dan to one of the top authorities on calling and hunting Predators. In the mid 70's I remember seeing Dan and his brothers walking across meadows on the Sweetwater River, they spent the long cold winters, camped there, calling and hunting coyotes. To date Dan has called and taken well over 4000 coyotes. He first started making his own calls in the winter of '89, when his favorite call the old Weems Wildcall was no longer available. Because of the demand for his calls, In 1997 he geared up to manufacture them. He spends most of his time in the shop now, but
occasionally he will come up missing, He never has been house broke, I just
